Long sleeve is the one most kids live in. Full arm coverage means sun protection on hot days and warmth on cool ones, so it works right through the year. Short sleeve for kids who prefer less coverage on their arms. Our paddle suits swap the legs for a bikini style bottom. Beyond that, go with what your child will actually keep on. Plenty of kids are set on long sleeves and won't wear anything else, and the suit that gets worn is the one worth buying.
Size down to your child's age, and don't size up. A 2 year old takes the 1-2, a 4 year old the 3-4. If your child is petite, go one size smaller again. Snug is what keeps them warm, so check the size guide for exact measurements before you order.
