Thanks for visiting our website – I’m Belinda, mum of three kids under 7, living in the Northern Rivers of NSW, Australia.

We’re a family that loves to adventure—whether it's exploring waterfalls, swimming in creeks, camping off-grid in our trailer, or escaping interstate (or overseas) whenever we can. Wherever we go, there’s one thing—well, three things—we never leave behind: our kids’ wetsuits.

Honestly, I’ve lost count of how many times I hear, “Mum, did you pack our wetsuits?” It’s the one piece of gear they know means hours of play, exploration, and comfort—whether they’re in the ocean, the creek, the backyard sprinkler, the pool, at swimming lessons or running wild at a waterpark. It’s our go-to.

Before I joined the brand, I was actually a Summer Sun Label customer—just like you. I remember buying the clothing in every size and collecting the wetsuits in every colour (there were only a few colours to start!). Life just felt easier when my kids were wearing them—less fuss, fewer complaints, and longer days outside because they were protected and comfortable doing all the things they love most.

I first discovered Summer Sun Label through Emilie, a fellow mum here in the Northern Rivers who started the brand back in 2020. She created the original springsuit inspired by her own kids' love of the water and the need for something that was fun, functional, and protective—without compromising on comfort.

Emilie has recently moved on to pursue new adventures, and I wish her nothing but the very best. I’m so grateful for what she created—it laid the foundation for something truly special.

In 2022, I joined her in running the business, and when she moved on, I felt incredibly proud (and a little daunted!) to carry the label forward. It’s a brand built on care—care for our kids, their skin, their play, and the planet.

Now, as a mum and the owner of Summer Sun Label, every piece created is with real family life in mind. I know how hard it is to find gear that actually lasts, fits well, and doesn’t end up in the too-small pile after one season. Our suits are made to be lived in, played in, and then passed down—soft, stretchy, sun-safe, and loved by kids from the beach to the backyard.
