Silver at the 2026 Clean + Conscious Awards: What the Judges Said About Our Long Sleeve Springsuit
Our long sleeve springsuit has won Silver in the Kids Apparel / Swim category of the 2026 Clean + Conscious Awards.
Part of the judging process meant sending the springsuit out to the expert panel to trial on their own kids. Below is their feedback, published in full and unedited.

Really great design solves more than one problem at once, and these wetsuits are a perfect example. They combine excellent sun protection with thoughtful styling, making them every bit as appealing aesthetically as they are practical. The quality is immediately apparent – they’re beautifully constructed and feel built to last, yet remain remarkably well priced for what they offer. Most importantly, they’re swimwear children (including mine!) are genuinely excited to wear. That’s no small achievement. It’s a smart, beautifully executed product that makes sun safety feel like an effortless part of family life.
There is plenty to admire in this brand’s approach, particularly its commitment to supporting its local community as it grows. What resonated most with me, however, was its emphasis on creating products that genuinely last. In a category where children’s swimwear is often treated as disposable from one season to the next, designing wetsuits that are made well enough to be handed down between siblings or friends is a practical and meaningful contribution to sustainability. Longevity is one of the most powerful environmental choices a brand can make, and this product delivers on that promise beautifully.

Both me and my girls adore these wetsuits. Everything from the vibrant colours (making my children easily identifiable in the surf and on a busy beach) to the comfortable fit and warmth these suits have provided through this winter weather. It’s great that the materials are more sustainable than traditional neoprene. Supporting local business alongside your business is a beautiful way to engage social responsibility. Building community and lifting other local brands alongside your own speaks to the heart of this company. It’s most impressive.

I love this brand – the rubber that is used feels so much better than mainstream brands. The rubber fabric is soft and Sunny is sensitive to tags and stitches and she was so happy to wear and swim in the wetsuit. Sunny loved the colour and said she can’t wait to wear it. I love that the material is produced from renewable rubber tree forests and can reduce CO2 emissions compared to standard neoprene. It’s been great to see how this technology YULEX works with supporting plantations etc.
Thank you
Thank you to Amy, Katherine and Keshia for taking the time to trial the springsuit properly, and to the Clean + Conscious Awards team. Congratulations to Honey & Stitch on Gold and Hemp Clothing Australia on Bronze.
The springsuit the judges reviewed is made from Yulex® natural rubber. It is soft, stretchy and sun safe, and made well enough to be handed down.
